Note from the President. We are an Environmental Disaster Response Contractor

Source: BP

Please note there is no fee to be a part of our team. We have nothing to sell to our workers or subcontractors. In many cases we can direct you to free resources for training or provide in-house training.  The only thing we do is contract with responsible parties and provide cleanup services.  When you apply here you are applying for work.  No one will sell you anything.

Kind Regards,

William Lombardo

Who do I need to contact in order to apply for a job cleaning up the oil spill?

  3. Kevin Lewis

    Mr. Lombardo,

I applied for a cleanup position a few weeks ago and was wondering what the time line for deployment was looking like. I have 18 years as a firefighter (municipal and industrial), hazardous materials technician, OSHA Instructor (500&501), FEMA/Homeland Security Instructor, Emergency Medical Technician, and have been deployed on numerous responses. I was the Operations Section Chief working above the Hazardous Materials Branch at the Republican National Convention, working with the Minnesota National Guard among other major deployments. I understand the pains that it takes for logistics to be in place, but I really want to get down there and start putting my experience, education and training into action. I am eagerly awaiting an e-mail or a phone call to send me into response mode. I hope to meet or speak with you very soon. Thank you for your time.

Here I sit for weeks with my Haz-Mat and Capt./ Engineer tickets, wanting to help…
I get nothing but a hurry up and wait E-mail from this “site”
I don’t really want to head down and “pound” the docks looking for work, but tired of watching the news and hearing how Haz-Matts are needed..

    1. Bronson Kurtz

The delay resides not with this site but with BP and local decision makers. If you have followed the news you may have noticed many cities and parishes complaining about not knowing who is in charge. We are urgently pursuing negotiations with the State and BP.

We will post updates as we get them. Thanks for wanting to contribute.
